Spirit of Christmas T&Cs

Below you will find the Terms & Conditions for aspects of the Spirit of Christmas Fair:

Ticket Purchases and Event Attendance

  1. ​​​​​By attending the Spirit of Christmas Fair (the Fair), you do so entirely at your own risk. Clarion Events Ltd (the Organisers) shall not be liable for any injury, damage or loss to you, other than in respect of any injury or loss arising directly as a result of our own negligence. You agree to take full responsibility for your own safety, property, health and wellbeing during and after the event and, if unsure of your own ability or condition to attend, to take appropriate third party advice. 
  2. Visitors will not be allowed admission to the Fair without a valid ticket.
  3. For attendees’ safety, the Organisers reserve the right to refuse admission, and may conduct security searches.
  4. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or resold for commercial gain.
  5. The Organisers reserve the right to alter or vary the content or timing of the whole or any part of the Fair due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control without being obliged to refund or exchange tickets.
  6. Ticket bookers are responsible for ensuring everyone in their party is aware of, and adheres to all terms and conditions including the safety measures.
  7. The Organisers cannot accept financial or other responsibility for any loss or liability incurred by visitors to the Fair as a result of contracts entered into by visitors with any exhibitor or advice sought or obtained from any exhibitor.
  8. The Organisers cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property brought to the Fair.
  9. Visitors may be photographed, filmed or recorded for marketing, broadcast or security purposes during the Fair. By attending the Fair, visitors authorise such photography and recording and permits the Organisers to use their images, likeness and voice for archival and promotional purposes in any and all media, without liability, compensation or credit.
  10. The sale of any articles in the gangways or anywhere on the Exhibition premises is strictly forbidden except with the written permission of the Organisers, and the Organisers reserves the right at their absolute discretion to confiscate any such articles for infringement of the condition.
  11. All advance bookings are subject to a single transaction fee of £2.75. This fee is per transaction and not per ticket.
  12. Silver Anniversary Ticket type only available in advance and limited to 250 tickets. Discounts exclude the Silver Anniversary Tickets. 
  13. Please check all your tickets on purchase, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
  14. All visitors to the Fair must abide by our admissions policy and code of conduct found here.

Ticket Discount Codes

All discounted rates are based on the on-the-door ticket prices. Discount codes exclude Silver Anniversary Ticket, Charity donations and the Dining Deposit. A transaction fee of £2.75 applies per booking.

Promotional discount codes are provided to our e-newsletter recipients and social media followers, and through our partners’ promotions. These codes are valid for tickets bought online. When you enter the code on the ticket booking form, the page will reload to show the discounted rates. Most promotional discount codes offer at least £2 off single day adult, child and family tickets.

We provide all exhibitors with a limited number of personalised unique codes, to give their clients complimentary tickets as outlined above. If you are a subscriber your organisation will be able to provide you with a code to benefit from this additional discount.

Ticket Competitions

  1. Ticket competitions ("Competition") may be run via Facebook, Instagram or Twitter on the accounts of Exhibitors, or Partner organisations ("Partners") participating at the Spirit of Christmas Fair as agreed with Clarion Events Ltd ("Organisers")
  2. The prize consisted of a pair of standard day tickets to the Spirit of Christmas Fair ("Fair") which can be taken on any one day of the upcoming event ("Prize").
  3. The Competition is open to all residents of the UK, including the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, aged 16 or over except the Organisers or Promoters staff/employees, their close relatives or anyone connected with the Competition.
  4. Entries for the Competition can only be completed via Facebook, Instagram or Twitter through liking and commenting on the competition post as directed in the instructions on the original Competition post.
  5. Entries submitted after the Competition closing time specified in the post will not be accepted.
  6. After the Competition period has closed one entrant will be selected by the Promoter to redeem the Prize ("Winner") and contacted soon after the competition closing date.
  7. The Winner will be issued with a ticket code to redeem the Prize via the online ticket booking system.
  8. Tickets are strictly non-transferable.
  9. Prizes do not include a car parking pass.
  10. For the avoidance of doubt, the Prize does not include Travel or any other expenses, and no cash alternative is available.
  11. By accepting the Prize the Winners accept and agree to be bound by the Fair Ticket Purchase and Attendance Terms and Conditions.

Complimentary Ticket Codes

  • A complimentary ticket for the Spirit of Christmas Fair ("Fair") admits one person on any one day of the Fair period
  • Complimentary tickets must be redeemed online via the booking form using the issued ticket code 
  • Complimentary tickets must be redeemed online, unless the visitor has a hardcopy ticket invitation with validation details filled in.
  • Complimentary tickets/codes are not for resale and have no cash value
  • All complimentary tickets are subject to the Ticket Purchase and Event Attendance Terms and Conditions

 

House & Garden Subscriber Ticket Codes

  • A House & Garden subscriber ticket for the Spirit of Christmas Fair admits one person on any one day of the Fair period.
  • For the month of August only, House & Garden subscriber tickets admit two people on any one day of the Fair period. Offer runs 01.08.26 - 31.08.26 only. 
  • If you are a House and Garden subscriber enter your 12-digit subscriber number in the code box on the booking page and click on 'Use Code'. You will then be shown your subscriber ticket options, which applies to available ticket types including Day tickets, Late Night, Weekend and Unlimited upgrades.
  • All discounts exclude Silver Anniversary Tickets. Silver Anniversary Tickets are limited to 250 tickets, first-come-first-served. The ticket includes Fair entry for two adults for £25. Buy in advance only, not available on-the-door. 
  • House & Garden customers should allow a week after ordering their magazine subscription before ordering tickets, to allow the subscription reference to be uploaded to the Box Office system.
  • House & Garden complimentary ticket codes are not for resale and have no cash value.
  • All House & Garden tickets are subject to the Ticket Purchase and Event Attendance Terms and Conditions.
