Date Sultan

Sustainability at Date Sultan starts with people. We are a social enterprise, and our own team in London, many of whom were previously unemployed, are paid the London Living Wage. Every farm we source from is personally visited and audited by our founder, and every worker in our supply chain, from grove to packing house, is paid a fair living wage, not a minimum. We hold a signed, binding agreement with our Saudi packing partner enshrining a zero tolerance stance on modern slavery. We refuse to source from occupied territories, regardless of cost or convenience. Our stuffed dates, including the Pistachio Mabroom and Almond Mabroom, are hand-filled in-house rather than mass-produced or white-labeled. Our packaging is designed with sustainability in mind, and every box sold supports our ongoing palm tree planting commitment. For our stand, we reused our existing design from previous events rather than purchasing anything new, avoiding unnecessary materials and waste.

PACK'N TRAVEL

We Love Our Planet, We Care for It, and We Create to Protect It Pack'n Travel began with a dream: to create without consuming more of our planet. We believe creating something new should not always require taking something new from nature. This belief shapes every decision we make from the materials we choose and the way our products are made, to how they are packaged and how long they are designed to last. At the heart of our collections is an innovative next generation vegan material made by upcycling by products from olive oil production. What was once considered agricultural waste is given a new purpose and transformed into a durable, high performance material containing up to 90% bio based content. For us, this transformation represents everything Pack'n Travel stands for: creating value from what already exists. Our material choices are supported by recognized vegan certifications, including PETA Approved Vegan and V Label, reflecting our commitment to animal free and more responsible alternatives. But sustainability is also about how we make things.

The Little Tibet

The Little Tibet is a London-based Himalayan craft and lifestyle business established in 2008. Sustainability for us begins with valuing traditional craftsmanship, durable materials and products designed to be treasured and used for many years rather than treated as disposable.  Our collection includes hand-hammered Tibetan singing bowls, traditional Himalayan textiles, shawls, scarves, blankets, jewellery and other handcrafted pieces. Many of our products are made using traditional skills by artisans and small-scale producers across the Himalayan region. Our singing bowls, for example, are individually made and many are unique pieces rather than standardised mass-produced goods.  We also develop our own products and designs, including our square silk scarf collections, allowing us to create distinctive pieces rather than relying entirely on mass-market, white-label products.  An important part of our business is preserving and presenting the cultural story behind the objects we sell. We believe sustainability is not only about materials, but also about maintaining traditional skills, supporting craftsmanship and encouraging customers to value objects for their quality, provenance and longevity.  As a small independent business, we buy carefully, retain stock rather than following short seasonal cycles, and continually reuse our retail and exhibition equipment wherever practical. Our approach is centred on craftsmanship, longevity, cultural heritage and thoughtful consumption.

Poppys girls vintage

My business is vintage fashion, everything I sell is preloved with some items dating back to the 70s. I find pieces in near new condition but also some that may need some love, my nan and I work on said pieces to make them wearable again for years to come. Near all items I curate are of natural fabrics - silk, cotton, suede, shearling, wool for example.
