Today, we’re chatting with Fleur de Force, the creative mind behind Raven James, a brand beloved for its modern, versatile multiway jewellery infused with timeless antique inspiration. Returning to the Fair for their third year at Stand K92, Raven James will be showcasing their brand-new collections, including exclusive sneak peeks before they even hit the website, alongside expert gifting tips to help you find that perfect, thoughtful present this Christmas.

The Story Behind the Brand: What inspired you to create Raven James, and how have the collections evolved since you launched?

I started Raven James out of a real love for jewellery, particularly unique antique pieces that felt timeless and special. I wanted to create a collection that combined that beautiful, intricate detailing with a more modern, versatile approach to everyday jewellery. The idea of multiway jewellery was at the heart of the brand from the very beginning, creating pieces that could be styled in different ways, mixed and matched, and worn for years to come.

We launched with our core multiway collection and since then the brand has evolved and expanded to include silver, beautiful gemstones, T-Bars and so much more. One of the most rewarding parts of growing Raven James has been getting to know our customers and understanding what they really love. Their feedback and the way they style their jewellery have become such an important part of how we develop new collections. While the brand has grown and evolved over the years, that original idea of creating beautiful, versatile jewellery that feels personal to the wearer has always remained at the heart of everything we do.

Showcase 2026 Piece: Could you share the story or inspiration behind one of your favourite or standout pieces available this season?

This season we've launched our SOLITAIRE collection, which is honestly one of my favourites we've created so far. I've always loved antique jewellery, particularly Georgian diamonds, and wanted to capture that same beautiful, timeless feel in pieces you can wear every day.

The collection features stunning moissanite stones set with traditional georgian button back settings and black rhodium detailing, giving them that lovely antique-inspired look, but at a much more accessible price point than antiques.

One of my favourite things about SOLITAIRE is how versatile it is. All the pieces work with our existing chains and hoops, so you can mix and match them with jewellery you already own. It's that combination of antique inspiration and modern, everyday wearability that I really love.

Returning to Spirit: You’re joining us at the Spirit of Christmas Fair for your third year! What do you enjoy most about the Fair and atmosphere?

I've loved the Spirit of Christmas Fair for years and always used to visit as a customer, so when the opportunity came up to exhibit, it felt like such a natural fit for Raven James. There's always such a lovely festive atmosphere, it's something we really look forward to each year.

My favourite part has to be meeting our customers in person, as well as introducing Raven James to people discovering us for the first time. It's so lovely to see people trying on the jewellery, finding their favourite pieces and getting excited about the collections in person. 

What to Expect at Stand K92: What can visitors look forward to seeing at your stand this year? Any new launches, exclusive pieces, or festive highlights?

Visitors to our stand can expect to see some new launches before general release (we have eight new designs launching at Spirit before they hit our website!) and a chance to try on our classic multiway pieces. Because our pieces can be worn multiple ways, it’s always interesting to see how people style their jewellery to make it truly unique to them! 

Gifting Advice: What is your ultimate tip for finding a thoughtful, timeless gift for someone who seems to have everything?

I absolutely love gifting! I do a gift guide series on my YouTube channel every Christmas, so I'm always on the lookout for lovely gift ideas, especially for those people who seem to have everything...

I think my biggest tip is to find something that feels personal to them, whether that's a little luxury they wouldn't usually buy themselves, or something that really suits their interests. That's one of the reasons I love Spirit of Christmas so much. There are so many fantastic independent brands and such a variety of things you wouldn't necessarily find on the high street. It's the perfect place to find something a bit different, and I always end up discovering a few things for my own Christmas shopping too!
