Tristram Coates is Head of Sales at C&S and son of co-founder Nicholas Coates. Having grown up on the family estate, spending school holidays picking grapes, Tristram developed an early passion for wine and a deep-rooted understanding of the industry. He credits Christian Seely, C&S co-founder and CEO of AXA Millésimes - the group behind Château Pichon Baron, Château Suduiraut and Quinta do Noval - with teaching him much of what he knows about wine.
In 2021, Tristram founded a brand development agency responsible for overseeing C&S’s sales and marketing operations. A passionate wine enthusiast, he is a strong believer in the potential of English wine and is committed to helping the category grow and establish its place on the world stage.
