Matilda Daisy Art

Matilda Daisy is a London-based, self-taught artist known for her expressive, colourful and bold interpretations of British nature.

Drawing on her BA (Hons) in History of Art from the University of York, her work is particularly inspired by the personal meaning, the way memory holds people and spaces, and the rhythms of nature.

Matilda Daisy’s work celebrates the joy of the natural world whilst encouraging viewers to reflect on how our environment is constantly changing, day by day, season by season. Her practice spans soft pastel, acrylic paint, watercolour and oil pastel, and captures the rich, vivid colours of nature, bringing a sense of calm to familiar British subjects.

At the Spirit of Christmas Fair, Matilda Daisy will be based in the Upper Gallery in the Rising Stars section, offering a selection of her original artworks, prints and postcards, as well as bespoke commission opportunities.
