The Make Shed

Founded by British designer/Maker Claire Gordon, The Make Shed grew from a lifelong interest in clothes, fabrics and love of making. Based in rural Kent, we work with skilled local makers to create thoughtful, individual garments in small quantities. From fabric selection and pattern cutting to the final stitch, every stage reflects our belief in good materials, considered design and making things properly. Drawing inspiration from the natural world and traditional craftsmanship, we create clothes that are a little different, made to be worn, lived in and loved for years to come.
