Ian Wisniewski

I’m a food, drink and travel writer though my focus is spirits, particularly Scotch whisky. I’ve written 12 books including 6 on whisky, and I’m always excited to visit a distillery as the production process fascinates me, and the best way to learn is to go to the source. I’m also exploring how we perceive aromas and flavours, and the amazing way the palate, olfactory and brain work together. But I also believe in just enjoying what malt whisky has to offer, without any analysis !
