Goose barnacle shells, washed in from the Atlantic, are reimagined in a 12-piece collection featuring 18ct gold plating and recycled sterling silver paired with beautiful lab-grown white sapphires. The result, a portfolio of asymmetrical earrings, powerfully chunky rings, ornate chokers, and layering necklaces and bracelets that look to have been formed by the ocean itself. Price points are from £110 - £595. 

Loveness Lee as a brand, works to protect the medium which inspires them, and further to their aftercare programme, their small batch production, and use of local sustainable materials, The White Sapphire collection will also work to support vital ocean ecosystems with 10% of the profits going to the Ocean Conservation Trust. 

Collection highlights include the new Poli Hoop Earrings which showcase how the entire form of the subject matter is used; creating a distinct look that cannot be replicated. Deceptively lightweight, the larger designs such as the Poli Hoop, are made for statement wear that could be worn everyday. 

The Zakia White Sapphire Earrings form a Loveness Lee signature featuring bold asymmetrical earrings showcasing various gemstone cuts, creating a playful pair you’ll never tire of. 

Rings and layering also play a part with the new Kai and Mara rings which are both chunky yet stackable with gold and silver options to create a look with impact. 

The collection formed when Loveness Lee, Founder of her eponymous brand, went to visit her mother who lives on the Portuguese coast. One morning, when taking a walk together along the beach not far from her mother’s home, Loveness spotted empty goose barnacle shells (percebes in portuguese) poking out of the white sands.

The goose barnacles shells were unlike anything Loveness had seen before, so she took them back to her London OXO Tower store to work with her team to create the sculpture-like designs you see today.
